Summer Adventures, Belgian Waffles, and Belgian Beers !
Published:
At the Belgian Korean Business Forum (BKBF), one of the things we enjoy most is bringing people together. It gives people a chance to meet, share stories, make new connections, and get to know the community that has grown around Belgium and Korea.
Our gathering on August 29 was a good example - where there were Belgian waffles and beer, of course, but mostly there were conversations: between people meeting for the first time, familiar faces catching up, and people discovering old and new connections.
Some of the best stories are the unexpected ones. We had people realize that they had once been colleagues, or even classmates, many years ago. Careers, travel and life had taken them in different directions, only for them to meet again, years later, in Korea and within our community. It really is a small world.
A community is ultimately shaped by the people who take part in it, and it was great to see so many familiar and new faces together. Thank you to everyone who came along and helped make the gathering happen.
Special thanks to Nelissen and Bogle House Seoul for welcoming us and helping make this day possible.
