BKBF Friday Social - Flanders Tech Mission Edition
Published:
On September 18, the BKBF Friday Social brought together members of the Belgian community in Korea, friends of the community, and members of the delegation visiting Seoul as part of the Flanders Tech Mission.
Held at Goose Island Brew House in Gangnam, the evening provided a relaxed setting for people from Belgium and Korea to connect, exchange ideas and meet others working across technology, startups, AI, clean energy and other innovative fields.
The event was also an opportunity to welcome professionals and innovators from Flanders to Seoul and highlight the strong connections between Belgium and Korea in the fields of innovation, entrepreneurship and international collaboration.
Beyond professional networking, the evening was about bringing people together. Members of the Belgian-Korean community had the opportunity to meet new faces, reconnect with familiar ones and build new connections over conversations and drinks.
The Flanders Tech Mission brought a delegation of 13 Flemish companies, startups, research and academic institutions to South Korea, with a focus on climate, energy and digital technology. During the mission, delegates took part in company and institution visits, B2B meetings and networking opportunities with Korean partners.
