Explore Seodaemun Area with the BKBF

Come along with us on May 12th as we embark on a journey through the iconic landmarks of Seodaemun-gu!

Our adventure kicks off with a visit to Seodaemun Prison, a historically significant site built during the Japanese occupation to detain activists of the independence movement. Here, you’ll delve into the stories of the martyrs who played pivotal roles in shaping modern Korea.

Following that, we’ll explore the newly renovated Diikusha House, once the residence of Albert Taylor, a foreign correspondent who documented Korea’s struggle for independence.

Our excursion concludes with a delightful dining experience at 능라밥, a beloved North Korean restaurant in the area, where we’ll indulge in delectable cuisine.
