Brouwerij De Halve Maan, also known as the Half Moon Brewery, is a Belgian brewery located in the city of Bruges. It was founded in 1856 by Henri Maes and has been in the Maes family for six generations. The brewery is famous for its Brugse Zot beer, which is brewed using four different types of malt and two varieties of hops. The beer has won several awards and is popular both in Belgium and internationally. In addition to Brugse Zot, the brewery also produces several other beers, including the Straffe Hendrik and the Brugse Tripel.
